The Horseshoe Range is out north of Wilmington in the Southern Flinders ranges. The driving is not that long (couple of hours) when compared to other drives but is still worth the trip as the views are still very good. As it is not that far from Adelaide it is a realistic trip to do for a long weekend if you didn't want to drive a long way to get anywhere first.
You could stay in Wilmington (2 caravan parks) or you could decide to stay on the station which has campgrounds.
I have also purchased a shade for the side. This will be great
down at the Coorong when trying to fish on a hot windy day!
